The Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (HK) successfully opened on Friday 11th December to the general public.
Curating the Biennale together with Christine Hawley, Paolo Zaide and Roger Wu, Sarah and Yutaka were responsible for design and production of the exhibition and external pavilion which houses the Smart City pavilion.
It has been a great pleasure to meet the exhibitors, friends and to realise a series of programmes in the first few days of opening with some great diverse participants such as Sir Peter Cook, Professor Tom Heneghan, cinematographer Christopher Doyle and his team, director Ella Raidel in the first week. SKY YUTAKA are pleased to share the news that Mobile M+ : Moving Images exhibition has been named The Art Newspaper China’s Exhibition of the Year (Chinese Contemporary Art)’ 2015.
Based on the theme of ’The Power of Innovation’ which questions ways for young public of the digital era to understand traditional arts, this year’s award was focused “to encourage fresh thinking and new moves on art projects, exhibitions and creations…to enhance content and software, and professional standards, in order to match the growth in hardware like museums.” (TANC Asia)
